A Message From The Dean

Thank you for visiting the Nile University’s Pharmacy Programme website. As Coordinator, I am proud to share with you information about our programme, staff and students.
To improve our student’s education, we continually revise the curriculum and experiential activities to assure optimal educational outcomes. We are committed to make sure that each of our graduates has the scientific and biomedical background to be integrated into pharmaceutical and clinical skills and practices required for the provision of outstanding pharmaceutical and healthcare services in a patient-oriented setting and to utilize the broad scope of practice found locally, regionally and internationally. Pharmacy is a complex, exciting profession and is an integral part of the interdisciplinary healthcare environment. The responsibilities and scope of practice of the pharmacist continues to change. This requires a serious commitment to life-long learning in order to best serve the public interest.
To succeed with pharmacy’s inevitable change, part of our mission is to prepare our students for life-long learning.  They are being given the tools to be leaders in pharmaceutical care, to manage drug therapy, and to counsel patients on the proper use of medications.
Acceptance to our five-year professional Pharmacy Programme at the Nile University leads to the Bachelor of Pharmacy degree and is highly competitive. The Programme prepares graduates to represent tomorrow’s leaders in the pharmacy profession and for careers in a variety of areas.
I invite you to browse through our website to learn what our programs  have to offer and discover how our healthy learning environment and outstanding students and staff continue to move the professions of pharmacy forward to new heights.
