The university also has an effective impact on the society as it provides dental health services with minimum charges, along with therapeutic days and convoys to villages in need inside the capital city and outside of it too, with the help and coordination of the stockholders and community leaders of villages.
The dental department had furthermore activities, participated on helping special needs at which it organized a health day at the center of nursing home located in Bahri which residents included special needs as deaf, blindness, depression and loneliness, the students provided dental health education and treatment services to the old people living there, and to the staff as well.
They also perfumed treatment services to children from
Down Center nearby, the service provided in the pediatric department.
the students as well provide individual dental health education to patients attending as mandatory part of giving treatment and it encourages patients’ perception and nostalgia related to dental pain and treatment along with motivation of receiving treatment.

Note:
Nile University was selected as training center for registered periodontitis in 2017. Also, in 2021 Nile University was added as training center for registered paedontists by Sudan Medical Specialization Broad.
