A message from the Director of Finance
At Nile University, our mission is to empower students to graduate as skilled professionals who serve their communities and country with distinction. Through an internationally recognized education, we aim to equip our graduates with the tools they need to succeed and make meaningful contributions to society.
As the Finance Director, I am honored to lead the Finance Department, which plays a fundamental role in supporting the university’s mission. From securing funding to managing accounting, payroll, and all financial aspects of human resources operations, we ensure that Nile University has the resources necessary to deliver innovative education and research. Our efforts are dedicated to providing modern facilities, advanced research tools, and the latest educational equipment for every student, fostering innovation and academic excellence while maintaining a high standard of academic staff.

Finance Rules
Registration & Tuition Fees
- Payment of registration fees is due on admission.
- For first year students, 100% of the tuition fees are to be paid within 7 days of Registration.
- Full fees for second year and above should be paid within two weeks at the beginning of the academic year.
- Students will receive ID cards upon completion of registration and payment of the tuition fees.
- A student who does not have a valid ID card will not be permitted to attend classes & will be considered absent.
- Candidates who do not clear their dues within the specific periods, and those who are absent for more than 25% of classes will not be eligible to sit for the end-of- semester on final examinations.
- Fees paid are non-refundable after two weeks of registration.
- Fees for certificates and any other documents are non-negotiable.
Excellence Benefits
- Nile University offers a limited number of full scholarships for the outstanding students with the Sudan certificates who apply before the announced closing date.
- Partial scholarships are allocated upon application, not later than the closing date announced by the University.
- Other scholarships offers are subject to the scholarships committee decisions:
Discounts & Grants
Nile University offers discounts for applicants based on the following criteria:
- Sibling Grants: 15% for two siblings registered in the same academic year and 25% for one who has a brother or sister in an advanced year.
- Death of guardian: In the event of the guardian’s death while studying, the student are granted a 50% reduction in tuition fees, provided that authentic documents ae presented.

Discounts & Grants for Teaching Staff and Employees:
A discount is granted to the children of fulltime teachers and employees at the university as follows:
First child 75%, second child 50% and third 25% discount. Such grants are suspended if the employee resigned from a Full-Time contract with the University.
- The Committee for Scholarships and Fees Reduction has discretionary powers according to regulation.
