Faculty of Nursing
The nursing student graduates in Nile university, Faculty of Nursing with a bachelor’s degree at the end of a four-year program. The program prepares graduates to be good citizens as well as competent professionals, always adhering to professional ethics, to fulfill personal, social and professional obligations as well as community needs.
Program Objectives
At the end of their studies in the Faculty of Nursing the graduates should have acquired knowledge, skills and professional behaviors compatible with good nursing practice, In particular graduates shall:
- Assume responsibilities as competent nurses in preventive, curative, and rehabilitative services,
- Exhibit conduct in line with accepted nursing professionalism.
- Make independent decisions in nursing situations, to protect the rights of patients
- Facilitate health education for individuals and groups in pursuit of health.
- Function in hospitals as well as community nursing services.
- Continue to learn, update their knowledge and skill, and conduct research and studies in the areas of nursing science and practice.
- Assume the role of teacher, supervisor, and manager in a clinical / public health setting.
