To all our new first year and those in the second year and above. Many critical medical decisions that are life-changing are based on laboratory results generated by laboratory professionals. They are healthcare detectives working behind the Scenes, to provide high-quality, reliable test results. Laboratory professionals must have extensive knowledge of normal and abnormal Medical sciences. Correlation of laboratory data to specific diseases, and extensive Knowledge of instrumentation and test principles and methodologies are the highlights of this profession.

A word of advice

Be punctual and care for your attendance and coursework to be a reliable member of the health team. The faculty of medical laboratory Sciences oversees an integrated practical of infectious diseases for healthcare practioners programs committed to educating future leaders in healthcare practioners and well-being. Expert Healthcare is a rewarding and exciting field of study and practice. To address a continuously increasing demand of competent healthcare practioner professional’s medical laboratory specialist, we offer diverse undergraduate and graduate programs that rightly contributes to the advancement of healthcare delivery, both locally and globally.

Mission

The Department of Medical Laboratory sciences serve as a Centre of Excellence in Medical Laboratory Sciences, general pathology, Quality control and quality assurance, Environmental Health Sciences and Epidemiology of infectious diseases through excellence in education, research and clinical laboratory services. We build partnerships essential to a high-performing academic medical laboratory sciences department.

All these strategies in the Nile university were enrolling now in Khartoum, Dongola, and Egypt and recently in Saudia Arabia to our customers (Sudanese students and foreigners’ student from different countries) and it has given a wonderful and amazing finger prints in the medical laboratory sciences discipline between similar Universities in and out the Sudan.
